Ted is a native of Jacksonville, NC, but he and his family have traveled the world as he serves with the U.S. Navy as a chaplain. He attended Asbury University and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, then began his active-duty service in 1999. He has been assigned with various training and operational commands ministering to the Sailors, Marines, and families of America’s armed forces.

Since January 2024 he has been blessed to also serve his community at Peletier First Missionary Baptist Church, giving back through long-term pastoral and pulpit supply.
