Activities and Events

Classes

Sunday School:

School classes for men and women are held every Sunday morning at 9:45 a.m. before the worship service.

Bible Study:

Join us on Sunday evenings at 6:30 p.m. for Bible study, led by our pastor. This is an opportunity to dig deeper into the Word, ask questions, watch engaging videos, and learn more. Recent studies have included topics such as Christ’s journey to the cross and the life of the early church.

Ladies’ Monthly Bible Study:

Join the ladies of our church to study God’s Word together and be encouraged in our personal walks with Christ. Ladies of any age are invited as we support and uplift each other as well as enjoy brunch afterward. The Ladies’ Monthly Bible Study meets on the first Saturday of every month at 11 a.m.

Other Activities

Friday Night Fire-up:

Our Friday Night Fire-ups are church fellowship at its best! Food, friends, and (when it’s chilly outside) a crackling fire in the picnic shelter fireplace. Each month has a different food theme, and there are plenty of delicious dishes to share. Family and community members are always welcome! Join us on the first Friday of every month at 6 p.m. at the picnic shelter.

Ladies’ SWAT Meetings:

SWAT’s purpose is to “serve, work, and assist together.” This group for ladies of all ages is an integral part of our church family as we seek ways to serve our own church family and the community. SWAT meets on the first Saturday of every month at 10 a.m.

Mission Opportunities:

Nursing Home Visits: Visiting residents at local nursing homes and care facilities is one way we share God’s love with our community. Once a month, we gather at the church and ride together to minister at these facilities through song and encouraging conversation. Our next visit is detailed here.

Operation Christmas Child: Every November, we participate in Operation Christmas Child, a mission of Samaritan’s Purse. OCC delivers great joy and the Good News of Jesus Christ to children in need around the world through gift-filled shoeboxes, packed with toys, school supplies and personal care items. It is a hands-on way for all our church members to be involved in missions.
